Welcome to the Town of Pine Lake Park located just off of Trails End Road and the address is 5650 Mohawk Shores Drive. Our park features a fenced in softball field with dugouts and bleacher seating, playground equipment, small basketball area, sand volleyball court, picnic tables, benches, rustic walking trails and primitive bathrooms. Our town park has approximately 10 acres with plenty of area to explore.
The Town of Pine Lake has an Outdoor recreation and Parks committee that is working to revitalize the park. Our plan is a multi-year plan and we will be looking for financial and in-kind donors to enhance the park.
Plans for 2022 include enhancing the existing features of playground equipment by adding three “new to us” pieces that was generously traded back to the town from Nativity Catholic School. We are excited to install swings, monkey bars and jungle gym. This equipment was once at the Pine Lake School and many of our residents fundraised to have this equipment at the school. We are excited to repurpose the equipment for the residents of the Town of Pine Lake and its visitors.
In addition, we have started clearing an area for a 2nd parking lot just down the road on Mohawk Shores Drive. We will be adding gravel and compacting for the completing the parking lot. This fall, we have general clean up days planned at the park to provide general maintenance.
In 2023, we will be starting fundraising efforts for the future shelter with hopes to build in 2024. This work will determine how we improve the current restroom facilities.
We are very proud of the work that has been completed thus far. Many planning hours and volunteer hours have gotten us to this point. The Town would like to thank our committee members for sharing their time, knowledge and expertise, Nativity Catholic Church for their generous donation back to the Town of playground equipment, Ryan Larson for his large equipment expertise to help move the playground equipment, Ron Luenenberg for bringing his trailer week after week, T&M Towing & Recovery for their assistance in moving the equipment – you made it very easy, The Town of Pine Lake Fire Department volunteers for serving our community in multiple ways and always being willing to lead the way and our town board supervisors past and present for their hours and support. As you can tell, this project is a cumulative effort by many. We could not be doing this without you and we are very grateful for all of you!
If you are interested in making a monetary donation, volunteering on the committee or assisting with park projects, please reach out to our Outdoor Recreation and Park Committee Chair, Jennifer Cordy or any Town Board member. Please enjoy our Mission and Vision for the Town of Pine Lake Park.
